1. Compare the author’s descriptions of the sounds of the church bells the moment Johnny finds the broken figurine of his father and then after he and Aunt Ivy glue him back together.
2. Even though Aunt Ivy doesn’t believe that Johnny’s soldiers are foretelling outcomes of the war, she humours him to make him feel better.  What does it mean to humour someone.  How does Aunt Ivy humour Johnny?

CCI Open House!

CCI will be hosting an 'Open House' on January 19th from 7pm to 8:30pm for our Grade 8 students and parents.  Included will be a tour of the school and a discussion of academic and extra-curricular options.
